Are you a handy, do-it-yourself wine lover looking for something clever and interesting to do with all of those empty glass wine bottles? Rather than recycle your collection, consider upcycling them with some creative wine bottle crafts. We've had some fun with wine bottle DIY projects in the past with our Five Fun Wine Bottle Crafts to Make at Home, and decided to search for five more projects to add to your bucket list.
The DIY Network has some great step-by-step instructions on how to turn a dozen mixed color empty wine bottles into a beautiful chandelier for your study, kitchen, or bar area. It's a low cost, one-day project that's sure to turn any room upside down.
Pretty simple, and a very pretty way to keep the mosquitoes at bay. All you need is an empty bottle, some crafting pebbles, tiki fuel, tiki refill wicks and something to securely fasten the wick. Check out this blog for more detailed instructions.
You may have seen these recently, either at a yard party or as a centerpiece in a rustic themed wedding. They are a super easy and affordable way to change-up your decorating scheme. All you need is some glue, a paint brush, yarn, a scissors, and of course, an empty wine bottle. Moutain Modern Life has a great breakdown instructions.
Haven't found the perfect Mother's Day gift yet? This might be a good one! You'll need a glass cutter, a little patience and some plants – and that's about it. Plant a succulent, or your mom's favorite flower, in this wine bottle planter for the perfect gift on the heels of spring.
Spring is (almost) in the air – a perfect time for this one to make it's debut. Drink up, because you'll need more than one empty bottle (and the corks) for this one. This one requires a bit more leg work, we recommend this step-by-step article for the full effect.
Of course, with any wine bottle project, you're going to need wine bottles. Start amassing your collection of wine bottles by shopping the Haskell's wine selection today!
