Our Favorite Hard Cider Picks for 2016

Written by Beau Farrell | Feb 17, 2016 5:31:03 PM

How many different types of apple varieties can you name? Did you get stumped after Honeycrisp and Cortland? Actually, there are more 7,000 varieties of apples in the world. And for making cider, some say the more bitter, the better.

Cider is usually made from fermented apples, but other fruits such as pears and even cherries are also used. The history of cider is pretty interesting – it’s what the Pilgrims drank.

So, to get you started, here are 10 of our favorite hard cider picks for 2016.
